Volunteers Needed

Interested in serving your community, gaining experience, certifications, continuing education and more?

The Volunteer Fire Service was originally founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1736. To this day 69% of our Nation's Firefighters are volunteer, neighbors helping neighbors and saving citizens millions of dollars each year.

We understand not everybody wants to be, or has reservations about being an interior firefighter. Whether you want to dedicate time towards Emergency Medical, Fire Suppression, Vehicle Extrication, administration, maintenance, etc. - we could use your help. Our entire roster is comprised of dedicated personnel who have families, day jobs and other responsibilities. All too often we hear "I don't have time for that", neither do we but serving our community is a driving force behind finding the time to help those in need.

If you have a desire to serve, better yourself and your community while inheriting another family - SCFD4 may be the place for you.

Take a look at the documents below outlining our district and if you're interested, fill out the application below and submit it to us.

We thank you for taking a look at our agency and considering serving your community!
