You are forbidden from burning on RED FLAG days, during a burn ban or when the Grassland Fire Danger Index (GFDI) is HIGH or above. Should you burn during a RED FLAG warning or other bans; you will be issued a citation, held responsible for any damage which occurs to neighboring property or SCFD4 equipment and may be billed for the response. You are ultimately responsible for completing a safe controlled burn.
