5/17/15 Structure Fire

Dover, KAN. (WIBW)__ A Dover home sustained severe damage after a fire ripped through it this afternoon.

Fire crews arrived at 10730 SW Highway K4 after the owner of the home tells 13 NEWS a passerby noticed flames coming from the residence around 6 pm. He knocked on the door and called the local fire station.

Crews were still putting out hot spots over an hour and a half after they arrived on scene. No one was home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the amount of damage done to the home is unknown.
